Practising Well Community of Practice
The Practising Well Community of Practice delivers monthly sessions focused on supporting family doctors to work through the complexity of mental health, substance use disorders and chronic pain. Connect with us March 26th as our panel discusses how to recognize climate anxiety in patients, self-care techniques for physicians, and practical steps to green your practice and reduce your own environmental impact. COVID-19 Community of Practice
The Changing the Way We Work COVID-19 Community of Practice for family physicians, created in partnership with the OCFP and University of Toronto’s Department of Family and Community Medicine, held its 86th session on February 21st. The recording, slide deck and Q&A are available for review. The next session is planned for March 21st.
The Alberta College of Family Physicians (ACFP) is gearing up for its 70th Annual Family Medicine Summit in Banff, from March 7th to 9th. If you're a family medicine resident or family physician here in British Columbia, you can nominate one of your incredible peers in the following awards categories:
- BC Family Physician of the Year
- First Five Years of Practice Award
- Residents Awards (these include a $1,500 financial award and can be self-nominated)
Nominees must be a BCCFP member and not a current Board member.
